1.1

This Standard contains the quality assurance program requirements for the decommissioning phase of a nuclear power plant. This is the phase in which activities are taken to retire a nuclear power plant from service permanently in a manner that aims to ensure the interests of health, safety, security, and protection of workers, the public, and the environment. Note: Interpretation of this Standard by the Technical Committee will be according to the intent of CSA Standard CAN/CSA-N286.0.
